Use the following solutions to Fix Disney+ error code 73: 

Method 1. Turn off your VPN

The most likely cause for Disney+ error code 73 is a VPN connection. To protect region-locked content, the website tries to detect connections established via a VPN, and if you get caught, you’ll see the error screen pop up whenever you try to watch a video or movie.

If you are using a VPN, the simplest way to get rid of error code 73 is by temporarily disabling your VPN. If you’re in a country where Disney+ is available, this should cause no issues and you should be able to proceed to watch content on the site.

  1. Press the Windows + R keys on your keyboard. This is going to bring up the Run utility.

  4. Select the VPN you’re using by highlighting it's icon.
  5. Click on the "Change settings of this connection" link in the Network Tasks menu.
  6. Go to the Networking tab at the top of the window, and click Uninstall. Press Yes to confirm to disable the VPN.
  7. After successfully disabling your VPN, try to access the content on Disney+ to see if error code 72 returns.

Method 2. Turn on location services

A quick fix to this issue is changing your DNS server. Doing so, you can go around limitations and might even get a better internet speed on your device. Here are the steps to quickly change your DNS server to a well-known, fast, and public DNS.

  1. Press the Windows + R keys on your keyboard. This is going to bring up the Run utility.

  7. Select Use the following DNS Server addresses.

Method 7. Contact support and your ISP
