All of them include one TB of cloud space through OneDrive. And most of them include multiple installations. Perhaps the biggest difference, though, is that Office 365 allows you to update to the latest edition of Office without any extra cost. What Are my Office 365 Options?

Broadly speaking, Office 365 can be split into three major categories:

The difference between small and big business is the number of users the suite can allow. Small business suites are for businesses that will have between one and 300 users, while big business suites are for more than 300 users. Office 365 for big business can accommodated unlimited users.

Your major Home editions include:

These two suites are designed for non-business use, which includes simple every-day needs, as well as student needs. For your Big Business options, you have a number of choices, but the most popular are:

  • Enterprise E3
  • Enterprise E5

Professional Plus, or ProPlus, is closest to Business when comparing suites. Here, you get all the programs on your desktop, like with Business, and just like with Business, you don’t get the Exchange email network or the online communication programs. You do get multiple installations and Skype for Business, although most of the features for the program require separate licenses with ProPlus (unlike the Enterprise suites). This is an excellent option for those businesses that already have a corporate network they are happy with, including business email and other communication benefits. In that case, ProPlus offers everything a big business may still be lacking.

Enterprise E3 gives you far more than any of the suites mentioned before it. You get everything that comes with Premium, plus a completely functional Skype for Business, plus a number of additional security and data protection features. These include data loss protection, identity and access management, and more advanced threat protection.

Enterprise E5 offers you everything in E3, and then some. Here, you get even more security and data protection, plus business analytics through Microsoft BI. As you can see, there are a lot of suite options with Office 365, and these are only the most popular. To choose the suite that’s right for you, decide which category your needs fit into (Home, Small Business, or Big Business), and then decide which features you need to accomplish your goals. What Is an Office 365 Product Key?
