What is Google Lens?

Google Lens is a feature that was introduced in Google Photos and Google Assistant. It allows you to search for images on the web by simply pointing your camera at them. Google Lens can also identify objects, landmarks, and text in photos.

The new Google Lens feature replaced the regular internet search for images in a recent Google Chrome update. With it, you can focus on certain parts of a photo and search for them online, which may yield better results.

However, many got accustomed to the regular “Search Google for image” feature which simply uploads the photo and looks for identical copies online. If you want to revert to this feature, you can follow the guide below and continue looking up pictures the way you want to!
